Kind Words...
You're a life saver.... every woman needs a doula!

We are so happy that we discovered New Life and decided to have Lea as a partner to our birth. We really appreciate Lea’s expertise and found all the resources she shared with us helpful in the preparation for the birth of our daughter. Her insight helped us understand important questions to ask our doctor and what to expect during the birth process. She also taught me that a Doula is not only important for the mother and baby, but also important as a supportive companion to the husband. The only thing I would do different next time is to get her involved in the process sooner! Thanks again for everything Lea.

Lea was such a huge help to all three of us, before and during labor. Our multiple meetings in the months before the birth helped me work out my birth plan, get emotionally ready and get my house in order. And she helped allay some of my husbands fears about having a home birth. When my labor started, she was a calming presence for all of us, especially my 3 1/2 year-old daughter, who loved getting some attention from this person she'd gotten to know in the previous months. She hung out with me during early labor so my husband could rest; which made the night much easier as things progressed. We are all grateful to have had Lea with us for the birth of our second little girl.

We are so grateful to have Lea as our doula and present for our son's birth! Being past my due date and having labor induced in the hospital was a very different experience than the birth of my daughter and we just don't know how we would have gotten through it without Lea's guidance and assistance. It was so reassuring to have Lea with us the whole time while we waited and when active labor finally came, she had the knowledge and information to guide us through a natural birth and come as close to our birth plan as was possible under the circumstances. We would definitely recommend her to friends or anyone interested in a doula to assist them in childbirth.
